— ŌWAIRAKA COMMUNITY CLUB —

This exhibition showcases artworks by members of Ōwairaka Community Club. Ōwairaka Community Club is a creative, non-clinical social space for adults with lived experience of mental health issues. They believe well-being is maintained and enhanced through creativity. The club’s kaupapa is based on manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, and kotahitanga, with tutors guiding and facilitating exploration of individual and collective creativity. This exhibition features artists that have developed their own practice within this space.
