My wish for you
By the Ōwairaka (Mt Albert) Community Club writing group
At the close of the year the writing group members wrote a haiku for the coming new year. These were put together to form a renku - a Japanese form of popular collaborative linked verse poetry.
My wish for you is the
beach, hot pools and cruises -
for love and forgiveness
My wish for you is
A happy life and balance
As in all nature
My wish for you is
You see what you really are
Don’t deny yourself
My wish for you is
spring blossom to follow rain
- for new shoots to bloom
